Brightside Manifesto

We believe that creativity has the power to do all that and we wake up every day energized by the possibility of creating good, energy, and beauty in a world that needs it all. We are Brightside, and we believe that beautiful is bright.

For us, that means thinking beyond the superficial to deliver a beautiful solve. A solve that helps a client stand out in new ways. A solve that helps consumers rethink a brand. A solve that helps a community support its best through the very worst.

Today, it’s not enough to be creative. You have to do creative. At Brightside, we are proud to activate the artistic instinct for good

Casey Yoshida

Over the past 10 years, Casey has worked as a creative director to help brands tell their story in a compelling and emotive way that drives strong and measurable results. He’s helped develop the visual voice for brands, influencers, artists, entrepreneurs, long-standing institutions and new-to-world start-ups. And he’s loved every moment of it.

Casey also uses the power of photography to support, uplift and connect people to the businesses and communities around them. His work is celebratory, capturing the beauty and resilience of the Chattanooga community. In 2019 Casey’s work graced the cover of Chatter Magazine’s Mens fashion issue. His portrait work has gained notoriety in the region and in 2020 was chosen to be the photographer and co-creative director of The Scout Guide Chattanooga Volume 8, featuring styled portraits of 53 local businesses.

Outside the studio, Casey serves on the committee for the Hunter Museum of American Art and is responsible for curating one of its most successful fundraising exhibitions to date. Recently, Casey was asked to join the committee for Common House in Downtown Chattanooga, where he will assist in curating a diverse community for this contemporary social club designed for connection.

Casey graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BFA in Fine Arts and Graphic Design and studied Design at Savannah College of Art and Design.

our approach

Stories are found by seeking and we relentlessly
search for hidden potential and untapped power.

Creating clarity is more important than any other
element of design and we always seek elegant simplicity.

Trust is the thread that connects us to each other and our clients.

Quality is about details and we believe that every detail
matters every time.

Ego has no place in seeking, simplifying and sharing the stories
of others so we leave ours at the door each day.

Success for our team comes from creating value for others so that’s the way we measure ourselves for our client and our community.
